Are the properties located in the historic center?

Michelangelo, Nardi and Santa Croce are all located in the historic center of Florence. Michelangelo is only a 10 minute walk to the wonderful Ponte Vecchio. Nardi is 10 minutes from the Santa Croce neighbourhood, and Santa Croce's attic penthouse is only 100 meters from the neighbourhood's famous piazza. From Santa Maria Novella Station, you can reach all of our properties by direct bus within 10 minutes, or 5 minutes by taxi (cost between 7-8€) Borgo La Fornace is in the country side, only 2 km from the historic center of Poppi, a the magnificent medieval village. How far are the closest bus stops to the properties?

Michelangelo, Nardi and Santa Croce are only 100m from bus stop, so it is easy for guests to move about the historic center and the city. Borgo La Fornace has a nearby bus stop (300m) to reach Poppi, as well as Florence and Arezzo.

How much does a taxi cost to arrive at Michelangelo, Nardi or Santa Croce from the Florence's airport, Amerigo Vespucci?

All of our properties are approximately 6km from the airport and the taxis have a fixed rate of 20€.

How far are Michelangelo, Nardi and Santa Croce from the city's most important museums and attractions?

From our properties, you can reach all of the city's principal museums and most celebrated monuments - from the Uffizi to the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Santa Croce or the Duomo - within 10-20 minutes by foot.

How far is the Palazzo dei Congressi and the Fortezza da Basso?

The Palazzo dei Congressi and the Fortezza, the organizational seat for trade shows and special events in Florence, are only 10 minutes by direct bus, or a lovely 20 minute walk through the historic center from Nardi and Santa Croce, or a 25 minute walk from Michelangelo.

Does the staff speak English?

Yes, they speak English, as well as other important foreign languages.

What are the hours of check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 11:00 am and check out is by 10:15 am. Guests may leave their luggage at the property in the case that they arrive earlier than the regular hours of check-in, or if they depart after the regular hours of check-out.

If arrival is anticipated very late in the evening, is this a problem?

No, but the hour of arrival should always be communicated to us in advance.

What is included in the price?

The price includes stay, taxes and advice on your visit to Casentino. Every day a welcome set offered by the management will be available to guests with tea, American coffee and biscuits.

Is parking available?

Yes, at Borgo La Fornace free parking is available directly in front of our property and at Michelangelo a free public parking is available only 100 meters away. From Santa Croce and Nardi, we advice the free parking near Michelangelo, which is only a 3-5 minute drive, or you can park directly in front of the two properties with payment. Our staff will happily advise you on the matter upon arrival.

Which services are offered in the rooms?

All of our rooms feature a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, air conditioning, linens and towels, hand soap and shampoo.

Should we inform you if children are in our party?

Yes. Children stay for a reduced price in the rooms with their parents and we offer the possibility to add a bed, free of charge.

Can I bring my pet with me?

We love animals, but unfortunately it is our policy to not accept them, not even smaller dogs or cats.

How can I make a reservation on your website?

Reserving a room is very simple via our online reservation link, at NO EXTRA COST whatsoever.

Are the rates indicated per night, per room or per person?

The price is PER ROOM, per night with breakfast, taxes and services included.

What type of payment is accepted?

Payment for the stay is accepted at the moment of check-in, in cash. The reservation will be guaranteed via credit card information or by bank wire.

Why is credit card information requested at reservation?

Your credit card information is requested ONLY to guarantee the reservation. Your card will not be charged during reservation - the fee is paid directly upon check-in in cash.

Which credit cards are accepted in order to guarantee the reservation?

Visa, Mastercard, CartaSì.

What are the terms of cancellation of a reservation?

For a cancellation 10 days in advance of the stay: no penalty. For a cancellation within less than 10 days of the stay, or in case of no-shows, you will be charged the fee for the first night's stay and 50% of the other nights reserved/cancelled. The special offers have a cancellation policy that is non-refundable, even is cases of cancellation, modification or no-show. If for whatever reason you should decide to cut your visit short, we are obliged to charge you for the entire stay of the reservation, without exception.

Are there extra costs at reservation via your website?

There are NO EXTRA COSTS or PERCENTAGES hidden when using our online reservation system.

Is my credit card information safe?

Your credit card information is transmitted by SSL protocol, encrypted and certified. The certification SSL guarantees the identity of the site owners and the customer with utmost transparency. The transmission of the information is protected by Internet Explorer and ensures the safety of the information transmitted. The sending and reception of the information in connection with the secure server is also indicated by the browser, which uses an https:// instead of the usual http://, which ensure that your information will be encrypted and secure.

Privacy?

D.Lgs. n. 196 June 30, 2003 The personal information requested in accordance with the reservation are received and treated based on information support, at the end of which satisfies the growing obligations of the contract completed with the client and will not be, in any case, and by no title yielded to any third party that is not directly associated with the completion of the service rendered. We guarantee the respect of personal information in accordance with the regular laws enforced by the privacy code of DLgs. n. 196, put into effect June 30, 2003. Is the privacy of my personal information guaranteed?

The standard of security used to render your personal information confidential, protected via "firewall" and transmitted via SSL (Secure Socket Layer), is the most elevated technical protection. Moreover we use technical services to protect this information from being accessed by unauthorized third parties. They are, in all cases, guaranteed the minimum degree of security indicated by the privacy code and further modifications.

For an especially restful sleep, we provide anti-allergenic bedding, pillows that guarantee support and quality rest, and mattresses which are thickly layered and offer exceptional comfort.
